Creamy Garlic Mushroom Pasta

- Garlic cloves, minced3
- Dry white wine1/4 cup
- Heavy cream3/4 cup
- Parmesan cheese, finely grated1/2 cup

Preparazione
- Bring a large pot of well-salted water to a boil and cook the pasta until al dente, then reserve about 1/2 cup of the pasta water and drain.
- While the pasta cooks, heat the olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the mushrooms and cook, stirring occasionally, until browned and their liquid has evaporated, about 6 to 8 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant, then pour in the white wine and let it reduce by about half.
- Lower the heat and stir in the cream, then simmer gently for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet along with the Parmesan and a splash of reserved pasta water, tossing until the sauce coats the pasta smoothly.
- Finish with chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper to taste, then serve immediately.
